The flat weave Hardwick is based on a cutting of a classic 1950s carpet from the backstairs of a house in Sussex that Adam worked on some time ago, using an original piece for reference. Hardwick is woven in wool without any lustre to match the delicious dry texture of the original piece, taking that sense of drabness and making it sing. Hardwick has been recoloured in 12 strong Adam Bray-esque colours to suit modern life.
Blizzard is an immensely usable all over wall-to-wall pile carpet, based on another classic design that has been in production since the 1930s. It falls somewhere between an abstract dot and an animal print in a subtle yet fabulous design that is both chic and immensely useful. Blizzard is woven in its original Clay colour way and three elegant new colours.
