Growing up in the world of luxury carpets and rugs, with Peter’s father the highly respected Tim Page – teaching him intricate details and instilling a love of the rug making process from early childhood. Ever expanding his passion for the craft, Peter has worked in the industry for most of his life.
In 2022, with a desire to create new exciting designs using a broader range of techniques, Peter Page decided to launch his specialist studio. This studio is now housed at Chelsea Wharf and hosts an exceptional range of hand knotted, hand loomed, hand tufted and machine-made rugs and carpets.

The studio’s principles honour the tradition of the craft, combining a passion for timeless design with more experimental modern techniques. Their respect for the age-old methods and a deep understanding of the process is woven with a forward thinking, innovative attitude; producing clever versatile collections that respect the heritage of tradition whilst appealing to a modern design aesthetic. The studio is always looking to the future in its methods and are currently developing a range of more environmentally conscious products, exploring the properties of recycled wool and PET fibres.
With a unique insight into the interiors industry and creative practice, Peter Page is creating a niche in the world of design built on the cornerstones of knowledge and service, offering a truly individual approach to each commission they take. The expert team advises interior designers and architects and works collaboratively to provide a tailored and personal complete service – from early project advice to design and installation – ensuring every Peter Page carpet, rug or runner is perfect for the space and will remain so for decades to come.
From hand knotted, hand loomed and hand tufted to machine made there is an extensive selection of samples to view in the flagship showroom in Chelsea. The beautiful light filled space is the perfect place to discover the breadth of product and to explore how colour, texture and fibres can combine.
