On occasion, usually through organic conversation, Peter comes across someone with a unique idea that naturally lends itself to a collection. It might be a historical reference that has been filed away in a library waiting for its moment – like Hardwick – based on a cutting of a classic 1950s carpet from the backstairs of a Sussex house that Adam Bray had kept for years. Or a shared belief that no interior design scheme is complete without the perfect carpet or rug which lead to our immensely usable Turner Pocock collection. With Todhunter Earle Interiors the collaboration was an obvious solution to their struggle to source simple designs in suitable colour ways that could be used across interiors in both the city and the country.
These collaborations are few and far between, but each one has a unique characteristic that reflects not only the designer but also the ethos of our studio.
