Pushing the boundaries of textile craftsmanship, Harvest represents a rare technical and creative achievement within the contemporary rug market. Each design combines flatweave construction with hand-knotted Soumac and Persian techniques, using an intricate blend of linen, jute and space-dyed bamboo silk. The result is a richly layered surface with remarkable depth, movement and luminosity.
Created entirely by hand by highly skilled specialist artisans, each rug takes considerable time to produce, with weaving progressing at just one to two inches per day. A sophisticated palette of mineral blues, muted greens, earthy tones and blush pinks enhances the interplay of matte and lustrous fibres.
Bold in technique yet understated in spirit, Harvest offers a new language for contemporary interiors – one rooted in artistry, materiality and enduring craft.
In close collaboration with our specialist weavers in India, we developed a technique that allows the cotton warp to sit visibly beneath the silk weft – a deliberate and highly considered approach that lends the rugs a quiet sense of movement. The naturally slubbed texture of the hand-spun silk enriches the depth of colour, while its soft lustre responds gently to changing light throughout the day. The result is a collection that feels both grounded and dynamic – earthy, layered, and quietly innovative.
Designed in-house, the collection is divided into two design languages: Organic and Geometric. Organic designs reference natural forms such as bark, water and sky, while Geometric styles draw on architectural details, exploring scale and proportion. Each rug is finished with a tonal cotton fringe at either end, framing the design while adding texture and gently reinforcing a sense of motion.
