The new designs reimagine contemporary artist Georgie Hopton’s distinctive visual language as a series of six flatweave runners in a choice of colourways. The project brings together two practices united by a love of natural materials, a deep respect for process and a belief that everyday objects can be quietly expressive. The result is a collection shaped as much by experimentation and dialogue as by craft, where art and design meet underfoot.
Georgie Hopton is a British artist whose practice is rooted in repetition, rhythm and the quiet beauty of imperfection. Working with natural materials, including vegetables, plants and flowers, she creates handprinted compositions that feel organic, tactile and instinctive.
The collaboration took shape not in a studio, but around Hopton’s kitchen table, where sketchbooks, scrapbooks and early drawings sparked an intuitive creative exchange. Rather than simply reproducing existing artworks, the focus was on reimagining how her work could be experienced, not as it traditionally would be on the wall, but woven into the flow of everyday life.
