The Peter Page x Turner Pocock collaboration is born from a mutual passion for the handmade and belief that no interior design scheme is complete without the perfect carpet or rug. Using rugs used to ground furniture, linking all of the pieces within the space, is a principle most interior designers apply yet it can often be incredibly difficult sourcing rugs of the right scale and quality. The founders of London based design studio Turner Pocock, Bunny Turner and Emma Pocock, have worked with Peter Page to solve this problem, designing a collection that is steeped in tradition yet modern and vibrant.

Working closely with some of the most skilled artisan weavers in the world, Peter Page and Tuner Pocock have created a collection of beautifully crafted flatweave rugs and runners that reflect Turner Pocock’s love of colour and pattern as well as a desire for a variety of scale. Throughout the collection, Bunny and Emma reference antique tribal carpets of the 18th and 19th centuries. These design motifs have been simplified to work in both contemporary and traditional spaces.

By adapting this creative language to a flat weave, cotton jute mix, the collection is well suited to contemporary life and the demands of a varied climate. Each design is available in a spectrum of 12 colour options, with colours including Turner Pocock’s classic tones of teal and mustard treated with pinks to add vintage softness. Jewel-like rose and burgundies also appear in the collection, effortlessly aged and comfortable within their surroundings.
